Due to the many requirements of smoke control within building designs, requires that fire smoke dampers perform different functions which has led Advanced Air to develop their range into three sections.
Fire Dampers, Smoke Dampers & High-Temperature Dampers
Advanced Air smoke dampers are used to manage smoke only, whilst our fire smoke dampers also manage fire and are designed to close when the temperature reaches 74°c. The High-temperature damper operates continuously at 300°c for up to 2 hours.
All Advanced Air fire dampers and smoke dampers are designed for application in ventilation and air conditioning systems where the air way is normally clean and the temperature and humidity are controlled. They have been independently tested and witnessed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

Our team of service engineers at Advantage Control is dedicated to fast, effective and comprehensive ongoing support for our customers. Advantage control is authorised to carry out maintenance, servicing and commission of Advanced Air (UK) damper products, which include damper control systems and related equipment.
This includes;
Internal training of engineers, to use documentation and updates relevant to installing, commissioning and maintaining Advanced Air products including full use of Advanced Air commissioning and fault finding software and software updates to ensure smooth efficient installation, commission and maintenance.
